All will be well

A little reassurance about the winter: A song lyric

I’ve been watching the leaves die in the woods by the house, fading to yellow, crimson and brown

And I don’t feel ready for the summer to end, but the seasons are changing anyhow

All will be well, all will be well, everything’s gonna be just fine.

All will be well, all will be well, all manner of things will be well

The sun is setting a quarter turn to the north and the hours of sunlight are shorter and shorter

Come December we’ll be begging for the light, hollering like a blind man regaining his sight

All will be well, all will be well, everything’s gonna be just fine.

All will be well, all will be well, all manner of things will be well

What’s not love about this? We are pulled by the moon into each season’s kisses

The earth’s in a dance with a shimmering star, we don’t know where we’re going, but we’ve made it thus far

All will be well, all will be well, everything’s gonna be just fine.

All will be well, all will be well, all manner of things will be well
